FemSoc book club! The Dialectic of Sex, 4pm - 5.30pm, the Peanut Gallery

We'll be meeting to discuss chapter 7 of Shulamith Firestone's The Dialectic
of Sex entitled The Culture of Romance. Firestone argues that the existing
culture of romance exists to serve as an ideological tool to prevent women
from seeing their oppression within the sex-class system. Should get you all
in a loving mood for Valentine's Day!
