The 5th annual I Bike MCR Festival (2011)
Thursday 24th March
Bicycle Lantern Making Session From 5pm at The Boathouse, Platt Fields Park:. Make amazing lanterns for critical mass! We will provide all the materials for you to make a portable bicycle wheel lantern to fix to your bike + illuminate!
Friday 25th March
Carnival Critical Mass Bike Ride 6pm Central Library: w/ The Spokes Performance
Cyclists Dinner + Dancing 8pm The Yard Theatre, Hulme: Bring + share vegan food, Solar Salsa Performance, dancing and DJ’s!
Saturday 26th March
Dropouts CC Road Ride in the Peaks. 10.30am Unicorn, Chorlton M21 0BN
Sunday 27th March
Beer + Deer Ride 11am Unicorn, Chorlton, M21 0BN. Leisurely social ride to Dunham Massey and nearby alehouses
Intro to Bicycle Polo. 4pm 5-a-side pitch, Platt Fields Park

I Bike MCR + GMCC Twilight Rambling Ride. 5.30pm All Saints Park, Next to MMU
Saturday 2nd April
Kidical Mass. 10am – 11.30am The Boathouse, Platt Fields Park. Bike ride for families from Platt Fields and along the Fallowfield Loop with a lovely picnic stop.
Guerrilla Gardeners Ride. 2pm The Boathouse, Platt Fields Park

Wimmin’s Ride 1. 10am Unicorn, Chorlton M21 0BN. Sociable paced ride for women. Suitable for all bikes, ages etc
New Moon Ride. 6pm Hardy’s Well, Rusholme Leisurely ride, suitable for everyone

Sunday 10th April
Off Road Ride 1pm clifton country park or 12:30at Swinton train station. (Bikes are available to hire at Clifton Country Park if required)
Wednesday 13th April
Roller Racing with Great Northern Rollers. 7pm The Gaslamp, 50a Bridge Street, M3 3BW. Static bike racing competition, lots of fun for riders and spectators. Amazing prizes to be won!
Saturday 16th April
Bike Maintenance etc at Chorlton green Festival. 11am St Clements Church, Chorlton
Sunday 17th April
Wimmin’s Ride 2. 10.30am Unicorn, Chorlton, M21 0BN (60 miles with some hills. Suitable for all road/touring bikes)
Mystery Alleycat Race 2pm All Saints Park, Next to MMU: Alleycat race in pairs around the city. Follow clues to get to checkpoints. Fastest round wins prizes! Bring an AtoZ and dress as your favourite detective + camera/phone camera.
Monday 18th April
Full Moon Ride. 6pm Hardy’s Well, Rusholme. Leisurely ride, suitable for everyone

Pace Egg Ride. 9.30am All Saints Park: A ride to Heptonstall to see the famous Pace Egg Play ride
