On the 28th of August the English Defence League came to Bradford to stir up trouble much like in 7 July 2001 and were, to a large part, ignored.  See the coverage on Northern Indymedia from the time-line and articles [1] [2] [3] and other photos.  There was a similar demonstration in Leeds on the 21st of Oct 2009.

The event ended without much fuss and the people who are trying to cause division were safely and peacefully ignored by most residents. Athough the EDL had called the planned emo in Bradford 'the big one' it was far from it. Less than 1000 EDL supporters turned up to the demonstartion Bradford.
